An Official Special Election of the Lower Sioux Indian Community is being held in accordance with the LSIC Election Ordinance, Section 2A, as amended, to fill the vacancy left by Robert D. Larsen.  Absentee ballots shall be mailedto the Election Committee P.O. Box in the envelope provided and must be received in the Post Office Box no later than 4:00 p.m. on July 1, 2008.  Any eligible voter may vote by absentee ballot, or in person at the polling place on Election Day.
